The nervous kids, the chaotic dog, the grandma who "doesn't like photos" — I've seen it all, and I love every second of it.
Hi, I'm Krystal — an Omaha-based photographer, mom, and lover of golden hour light and candid belly laughs.
Photography has always been something I loved, but life has a funny way of pulling you away from the things that matter. For a while, my camera sat on a shelf collecting dust. Then one spring evening, I was on the sidelines watching youth softball — my kid running the bases, the setting sun hitting just right, parents screaming their hearts out — and something clicked. Not just the shutter. Something in me.
I picked up my camera and started shooting. I photographed families in my neighborhood, friends at the park, relatives at holiday gatherings. Every session reminded me why I fell in love with this in the first place: it's not about getting a perfect pose. It's about freezing a moment that would otherwise disappear forever.
Today, I specialize in family, sports, couples and engagement, and children's milestone photography throughout Omaha and the surrounding communities. My style is relaxed, natural, and rooted in genuine connection — because the best photos come from people who feel comfortable.
I have a soft spot for nervous clients, energetic toddlers, and dogs that refuse to sit still. I get it. I'm patient, flexible, and I will absolutely get down in the grass to get the right shot.
I don't believe in stiff poses, forced smiles, or sessions that feel like a chore. Here's what you can expect when we work together.
I guide you gently. No barking directions, no "look more natural" — I just create the conditions for great photos.
I've photographed enough toddlers to know that bribery sometimes works. We take breaks, we play, and we get great shots.
Not sure where to shoot? I know Omaha's best outdoor spots — from Elmwood Park to Fontenelle Forest and beyond.
Each photo is individually edited with warmth and intention. I don't mass-export — I make sure every image feels right.
